How to avoid vacation scams?
I have been burned before on some time share stuff. A friend of mine recommended I check out this site www.discount-vacationpackages-online.com Has anyone ever gotten a package from here?

First off, they don't sell anything there but ad space. That site is a front for several other agencies.
Second, if it seems to good to be true... Then it is.
The sites they link to may be legit, but I don't see Florida or California sellers of travel numbers (FST or CST) like I do on this site which I KNOW is reputable: www.mycruiseplanner.net. The number is at the bottom of the page.
Use a travel professional to avoid scams. There are MANY reputable travel companies that do not charge fees. Trust me, you are not saving anything if you scammed. It's not worth it. Travel professionals want to find the best deals for their client!
