With so many ptr and ptc sites available, I'm looking for information to help me choose a 'good one' to invest my time into and avoid 'scams'.

I dont really hac ethat information but i can recommend one that I know is not a scam and is very easy to an extent.. inboxdollars.com they offer surveys and paid emails and other things....my GF has her first check on the way.
They are all scams.
Just assume they're all scams and you won't go far wrong. I've done a lot of reading and I've never heard anyone say they've made money from them. A lot of sites try to get you to accept vouchers and discounts instead of money. Even if you ignore my comments, don't expect to make more than a dollar or two an hour - maybe less!
I use gaminglagoon.com but they pay you in gamer type stuff.
Here's a "good one" you should try: TAKE YOUR LAZY BUTT TO SCHOOL AND LEARN SOMETHING WORTHWHILE!! The rest are scams.
The key to avoiding the scams, and only working paying programs (there are some) is to get in with a group that helps each other identify scams. If one person in the group has been bitten by a program, no reason for everyone else to try it. The group I use is called Marketing Pond, and I've linked to a review of it I wrote for my blog. You might also take a look at Yuwie, which is a new MySpace like website that shares ad revenue with its members. You essentially get paid for participating in discussion forums, posting on your blog, etc. Quite a lot of the people who work paid-to-read programs are also in Yuwie.
