What information should I get to avoid being a victim of fraud?
I am purchasing a puppy from NJ and I live in CA. The puppy is "free" but the shipping is $200. Im a little worried that this might be a scam. What steps should I take with the seller to avoid being scammed.
Answers
Pay the shipper directly. THe company or airline. Don't transfer a cent to the person "Giving" you this puppy.
Check with the county police where the dog is coming from.
FYI: It's a scam.
A scam, you will never see the dog, just go and choose a dog from your local shelter.
