What do you mean by avoid? Mark them all as spam. After a while 99% of them will go to the spam folder. Do not believe any email that says you won, inherited, can help transfer, or cash checks for money. They are all scams.
well you dont have to open email that you know your not getting, and once you realize that the email you just opened is spam, just click the spam button at the top of the page
As the other answer says you can tell obvious spam, just label it.
