Internet Fraud

It happened to me , the macys credit card fraud. I am writing this to alert anyone reading of this Macys fraud It works like this, when you buy any products from macys they ask you if you want to signup for their card service, if you say yes, they try to put your new purchase on the new card so that it gets activated immediately and you become liable to use it. I had given them my existing credit card, I dont know why they put the charges on the new card. I called their customer service to remove the charge from their card and put it on my card. They went ahead and closed it and put a balance on my credit report. All without informing me or contacting me. I paid their card balance in full this is after they charged me a hefty penalty fees they wont send me a itemized bill. The penalty amounted to 271$, for a charge of 46$. The macys customer rep said that I should not have paid without getting a itemized bill, I think I am legally entitled to an itemized bill

Sorry but never open any credit card/ charges over the phone! As a consumer u open the card & agreed to all kinds of fees... in the fine print they r probably charging u a hefty fee to close the account. Why didn't u wait 4 stmt to pay the Macy's charged item and read what u agreeded too? Why did u want it on ur existing credit card? No credit card solicitor is going to do that. They used the existing card and all the info u gave to open the Macy's. Why close the card, just don't use it. U actually put a ding on ur credit rating. Write and brief letter of the details of ur experience and name all the people u talked too. Be sure to pay all your bills ahead or on due dates , no late pmts. If ur credit is good, this won't hurt it. If you have poor credit, this will bite u in the butt. I would write to all 3 credit card reporting agency and put your side of the facts in your file. So that anyone pulling your record gets ur side too.
