Internet Fraud

Can anyone tell me the name of Indian government websites or email addresses, from where we can enquire about internet investments or inform about scams?

In the past week, by e-mail, I've been invited to act as an agent for a German firm, and from India, I was invited to receive payments, bank them and deduct 13% commission before forwarding the balance back to India, and today a "lawyer" said he was trying to find an heir to $10 million. It might be me and I should forward all my personal information including my bank info to him in Belgium! In the past I have reported these to our local police, to the Better Business Bureau, to my bank (when I was asked by yet another e-mailer to give my local bank info as my bank was having computer problems!!). I have found out that the local crime authorities are already well aware of these and that the best they can do is remind all of us to be VERY careful about not giving any personal information of any kind to anyone who is not previously known to us. To do otherwise, is just asking for trouble. I can assure you that India, Germany, UK and all the countries from where these e-mail crimes emanate are well aware of what is going on. It is like global warming - just too huge to stay on top of. That is why it is important for each of us to be careful, all the time!
