Yup - and the widow of a banker in Kenya, and a banker in France and a lawyer in the Netherlands, and all sorts of interesting characters from Nigeria. This is why we have a delete button.
No, this is a new one. If you are ever approached by someone who claims to be a military veteran and you are suspicious; ask to see their DD-214 (Certificate of Release or Discharge From Active Duty). I had a copy of mine shrunk to wallet size and laminated. This is a good test to see if you are going to be scammed. I do it all of the time to those "Homeless Vet, Please Help" panhandlers. Some got that deer in the headlights look when I asked to see a copy of their DD-214.
No, I need that one for the full set. I only every had one begging letter for years. I have had 5 this week alone, including all those listed above. I informed Yahoo via Abuse. I've gotta go, I got £1,500 million to spend from the EU Lottery.
