phishing scams Question And Answer

Is there a phishing scam asking about walmart money cards underway?

I keep getting emails about a walmart money card ending in certain digits, that really looks legit. It is letting me know I have $14.06 balance remaining. It doesn't ask for any information, and the links to unsubscribe and to privacy policy both link to the walmartmoneycard.com website. The sender address is walmart@acctalerts.com. I don't have a walmart money card, so I am pretty sure this is a scam, but could it just be a mistake? I can't find anything on the web about it.

actually i have recieved one of these e-mails too. i think it was because i signed up for some free walmart giftcard though. same scam, different reason. I delete anything I get that ends with something fishy like acctalerts. walmart would never do something like this.
REMEMBER, if it sounds too good to be true..... it probably is a scam
It is a scam some loser gets joy from it. And if it was wal mart it would have like walmart(canada or us or whatever ) @walmart.com
Never trust any thing on the internet.....I would definitely call the corporate office and tell them what is happening and let them talk to you about it... I have been scammed before by this kind of thing...plus I dont like walmart anyway....they are changing so much..or even just call your local walmart and get connected to a live person and find out whats up....Its kinda stupid that card away....they make to much money out of it anyway,,,you loose to much in my opinion.
if sounds like ascam it probably is one..just delete it and be done with it
SCAM!!! Just delete and forget about it!
I have been getting the same thing but not from email, on my cell phone every morning, 22 days straight so far. anyone know how to stop it?
