Possible phishing?
I've never used PayPal, but lately I keep receiving messages inviting me to update my account. Could this be a phishing scam?

Do you have amPayPal account? If not, stay away. If so, check with Ebay.
Yes it is a scam. If you don't have an account then you wouldn't need to update it.
yes it is. Paypal never asks for you to upate your account. On the paypal site they have an email address of where u can send these fraudulent emails/messages. i think it is spoof@paypal.com. i use to get those messages all the time.
