phishing scams Question And Answer

What are the best internet phishing (or other) scams you've come across?

I got a "my friend request" on myspace which seemed genuine at first, but turned out to another stupid attempt at selling teen porn. Plus I've won the Netherlands lottery more times than I care to mention. Any others?

Talk talk free broadband........... LMAO at least I got my money back! :D
i don't come across them cos i ignore them...i only answer things from people i know.
There's one I have gotten maybe 6 times, where someone from asia or africa writes and says-- in about 10,000 words-- that if I can come up with cash to help them get their funds out of a bank, we can split it -- usually, it's inherited money amounting to millions, which can only be withdrawn with a co-signer who's American, for some reason I can't recall. They did a feature on this kind of thing on dateline a week or two ago, but frankly, it's so dumb and boring, I didn't stick around to watch to the end...
I had a 'second chance offer' sent to me via EBay... A car worth 2k could be mine for £400, IF I sent the money through 'Western Union bank' etc... Like a silly a r s e, I almost fell for it....
